Teton Dam and Cabin

Looking behind where the resevoir was.

The Earth dam is at the right, the dam broke on the left side which is in the middle of the picture.

Some boaters floating down the river.

Looking towards Sugar City and Rexburg.

On the 27 of July we all went to see Shawn Davenport's grandparents' cabin. The cabin has three rooms (two bedrooms, and a main room) that are very small and a low low ceiling. The last time his grandparents lived there by them selves was around the 1940s so it is a very old cabin. After looking at the cabin and an old shack we went down to a campsite and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. On the way back from the cabin we decided to go and look at the Teton Dam. On June 5, 1976 the earth dam got a leak on the left side, by noon the left side was completely flooded the water rushed down and flooded Sugar City and Rexburg Idaho.
